2022 Challenge
Date Started: 01/01/22 Date Finished: 12/31/22
The Conquer 2022 Virtual Challenge is the perfect challenge to set you off on the right foot and help you finish the year with a bang.
Here's how it works:
You challenge yourself by setting a distance goal for 2022 that you have to complete by 31 December 2022. To finish it you can walk, run, cycle, swim, row or do any
other distance-based exercise. And once you've completed the challenge, you'll be the proud owner of an awesome finisher's medal!

I started this journey in February, and started the 2022 Virtual Challenge in March. The mileage listed so far is for my trek on the Chief Pontiac Trail (which is where the picture is from!) and my miles accumulated on my treadmill.
It has been grueling but satisfying!
May has been interesting. I have started walking out of doors and biking more often. I spent quite a few days on my bike and riding many, many miles. I dropping the weight steadily and I am feeling much better! I have several medals and am working on more!
I added over 20 miles in one weekend while camping at the Port Huron KOA over Memorial Day weekend. I rode the Wadhams to Avoca Trail!
June has been a slow month, what with vacations and graduation party planning. I still accomplished my goal of 10k steps a day!
July has been rough. No doubt about that. I lost my job and with it any interest and motivation for walking. I struggled greatly with getting in my 10k steps a day but I still did it!
I am working on the last Lord of the Rings medal and it is kicking my butt!
August kinda sucked. I had a hard time finding the motivation as I finished the Mordor medal. I finally finished it near the end of the month and have started the Amalfi Coast challenge!
September was also pretty slow. I have been having a REALLY hard time finding the motivation to go out and walk. I am slipped down to just a mile per day. I need to step up my game becasue it is starting to get cold out and my days of walking outside are slipping away. I have walked to the weekly scouts meeting but that seems to be my only day where I get any real distance.
