Items and Collectibles

Link begins the adventure through Holodrum with three full Heart Containers. There are twelve quarter Heart Pieces scattered throughout the game. There is also full Heart Container to snag after each boss, bringing Link's total life to fourteen hearts after obtaining each Heart Piece and Heart Container. If playing the second game in a Linked Game, Link will start with four full Heart Containers, and has the ability to max his hearts out to sixteen, by utilizing one of the Linked Game Secrets.

Blue Ore

Blue Ore
Subrosian Wilds Acquire Roc's Feather and Magnetic Gloves The Blue Ore is an item obtainable in Oracle of Seasons. It is found in the Subrosian Wilds part of Subrosia, and Roc's Feather and the Magnetic Gloves are both required to reach it. The Blue Ore's only use is to be fused with the Red Ore in order to forge the Hard Ore at the Great Furnace.
Dragon Key

Dragon Key
Top of Goron Mountain Spring Season The Dragon Key is an item obtainable within Oracle of Seasons. It can be found on top of Goron Mountain respectively. The Dragon Key can be acquired by giving Moosh the Spring Banana, and then using Moosh to fly over the pits to where the Dragon Key is situated. This particular key allows Link to stop the nearby waterfall, so that he can enter the Dancing Dragon Dungeon.
Floodgate Key

Floodgate Keeper's House in Spool Swamp None When Link first arrives within Spool Swamp, the floodgates are closed, preventing Link from accessing the southern portion of the region. Link can enter the Floodgate Keeper's House where he will find the Floodgate Keeper. However, the man confesses that he has lost the Floodgate Key.
Link can hit the lever in the corner of the house to lower the water, revealing the location of the Floodgate Key. This key enables Link to open the floodgates so that he can reach the southern portion of Spool Swamp. This area will eventually lead to Link entering the third dungeon, Poison Moth's Lair.
Gnarled Key

Gnarled Key
Maku Tree None The Gnarled Key is a quest item acquired in Oracle of Seasons. Link obtains the Key after retrieving the Wooden Sword from the Hero's Cave, then going to the Maku Tree's grove and awakening him. Upon awakening the Maku Tree, the Maku Tree tells Link of how he needs to save Din, and concludes by giving Link the Gnarled Key.
Hard Ore

Hard Ore
Subrosian Great Furnace Red Ore and Blue Ore he Hard Ore is a quest item obtainable in Oracle of Seasons. It is received after Link obtains the Red Ore and Blue Ore, which can only be obtained with the Magnetic Gloves and Roc's Feather. Upon obtaining the two ores, Link may have them forged together at the Great Furnace, creating the Hard Ore. Link can then take the Hard Ore, along with the Wooden Shield, to the Subrosian Smithy, where it is forged into the Iron Shield.
Huge Maku Seed

Huge Maku Seed
Maku Tree All 8 Essences Link receives a purple & blue Huge Maku Seed from the male Maku Tree after obtaining all eight Essences of Nature. It is used to quell the evil barrier surrounding Onox's Castle.
Jewels

Jewels
Holodrum Members Card, Treasure Map Jewels are required quest items that Link acquires along his journey in Oracle of Seasons. There are four jewels in total and they serve as keys that Link must put in place to gain entrance to the Tarm Ruins.
Link can purchase the Treasure Map from the basement of Horon Village Shop. Link first needs to acquire the Member's Card and give it to Stockwell before he is given access to the basement shop. Link can use the Treasure Map to see the location of the four jewels. Four Jewels
  • X-Shaped Jewel - Located on the small island at the southern portion of the Western Coast.
  • Pyramid Jewel - Within an underwater cavern on the same screen as the entrance to the Dancing Dragon Dungeon. In a Linked Game, it found within a Cave that connects the Sunken City and the Woods of Winter.
  • Round Jewel - Given to Link by an Old Man at the southeast corner of the Holodrum Plain.
  • Square Jewel - Found within a cave at the southeast corner of the Spool Swamp. In a Linked Game, it is found within North Horon, underneath the water at the northwest corner of the Eyeglass Lake.
Magic Potion

Winter Season The Magic Potion can be obtained by purchasing one from Syrup's Potion Shop for the expensive price of 92 Rupees, taken from Maple after she is bumped into, or from within a Gasha Nut. Only one Potion can be held at a time. The Magic Potion will fully restore Link's health automatically if he falls in combat. In Oracle of Ages, the Magic Potion can be used to cure King Zora from his illness.
Master's Plaque

Master's Plaque
Sunken City Zora's Flippers The Master's Plaque is a quest item from Oracle of Seasons. It belongs to the Master Diver, and Link must acquire it to prove himself worthy of becoming his pupil. Only then does he obtain the Zora's Flippers.
The plaque is located inside a cave above a waterfall in the Sunken City, and Link can only reach it with the help of Dimitri. After Link hits the four eye statues simultaneously, a staircase leading to the plaque will appear. Once Link acquires the plaque, he must return it to the Master Diver in exchange for the Zora's Flippers, making Link his pupil and telling him the location of his secret diving spot.
Member's Card

Subrosia Market 5 Ore Chunks The Member's Card is an item in Oracle of Seasons that can be purchased at the Subrosia Market for 5 Ore Chunks.
The Member's Card allows Link to enter the lower level of the Horon Village Shop. There, he may purchase a map, showing him the locations of the jewels needed to access Tarm Ruins.
Rusty Pirate's Bell

The Pirate's Bell is an item in Oracle of Seasons. It is required to access the Explorer's Crypt. It is given to the Captain in order to set sail to the Graveyard.
Link can depart to the Samasa Desert in the south east portion of Holodrum, and walk to the ship which is two screens right of the starting screen, and talk to the Captain there. Link can then go to the top right corner of the desert, the part with water and pick up the skull with the Power Bracelet. While being held, the skull will react when it's on the spot of quicksand hiding the Rusty Bell. The exact location is somewhat random.
Pirate's Bell

Member's Card
Subrosia Market 5 Ore Chunks The Pirate's Bell is an item in Oracle of Seasons. It is required to access the Explorer's Crypt. It is given to the Captain in order to set sail to the Graveyard.
Once the Rusty Pirate's Bell is found, Link can then take it to the Smithy in Subrosia to get it refined into the Pirate's Bell. Link can then take it to the Captain to set sail for the Graveyard.
Red Ore

Red Ore
Subrosia Magnetic Gloves The Red Ore can be found in Subrosia to the west of the Sign-Loving Subrosian's house. Link will be unable to enter the house until he receives the Magnetic Gloves, which he will need to cross the gap blocking his way. The Red Ore can be found on the roof of the house. Its only use is to be fused with the Blue Ore to forge Hard Ore at the Great Furnace.
Ricky's Gloves

Ricky's Gloves
Blaino's Gym None Ricky's Gloves are a set of boxing gloves that belong to the kangaroo Ricky. After the gloves are returned to him in either Oracle game, he will allow Link to ride in his pouch.
Ricky lost his gloves to the Boxing Champion Blaino. Ricky then asks Link to win back his boxing gloves from Blaino. After Link challenges and defeats Blaino, he will receive Ricky's Gloves. When they are returned, Link will become friends with Ricky.
Ring Box L-1

Vasu in Horon Village None The Ring Box is an item in Oracle of Seasons. It is given to Link together with an unappraised Seed Ring the first time he talks to Vasu in Horon Village. It allows Link to store various rings that he has had appraised by Vasu. There are two upgrades to the Ring Box, named L-2 Ring Box, and L-3 Ring Box.

Lonely Goron in Goron Mountain Ring Box L-1 The Ring Box is an item in Oracle of Seasons. The L-2 box stores a maximum of three rings.

Blaino's Gym Ring Box L-2 The Ring Box is an item in Oracle of Seasons. The L-3 box stores a maximum of five rings. It can only be obtained through a Linked Game (password).
Spring Banana

Spring Banana
Top of Mt. Cucco Spring Season The Spring Banana is an item found in Oracle of Seasons. It is found on a Spring Banana Tree that is on top of Mt. Cucco. Link has to acquire the banana to give to Moosh, so that he'll help Link obtain the Dragon Key.
The Spring Banana is only available during Spring, hence the name "Spring Banana".
Star-Shaped Ore

Star-Shaped Ore
Subrosia Seaside Ribbon The Star-Shaped Ore is an ore in the shape of a star obtainable within Oracle of Seasons. It can be found buried beneath the beaches of Subrosia Seaside, and it is used to barter in Subrosia. After using the Shovel to dig up a Star-Shaped Ore, Link can trade this Ore at the Subrosia Market for a Ribbon. Once Link gives the Ribbon to Rosa the pop star, she goes on a "date" with Link and can open any locked doors in Subrosia.
Treasure Map

200 Rupees
TheTreasure Map makes its debut in Oracle of Seasons as a quest item. Link can purchase the Treasure Map at the back of the Horon Village Shop for 200 Rupees once he purchases the Member's Card at the Subrosia Market. It shows the location of the four Jewels scattered across Holodrum that, once obtained, open the gate blocking Tarm Ruins.
Zora's Flippers

Zora's Flippers
Sunken City None Link can obtain the Zora's Flippers in Oracle of Seasons by passing the test of the Master Diver in the Sunken City. The Zora's Flippers are used to traverse deep waters and are required for accessing key areas of the game's narrative.
