The Brother Emblem is a symbol of brotherhood of the Gorons, which when received, Link will become a respected sworn brother to the Gorons. In the Present or the Past, Link can enter the Goron Dance Hall and dance with the Graceful Goron, and be rewarded with the Brother Emblem and become a respected brother of the Gorons. The Brother Emblem can later be used to enter a new area. If Link shows the Brother Emblem to the Goron who guards the way besides the Goron Dance Hall, he will move aside for him to enter. |

Fairy Powder is an item from Oracle of Ages that can cure the curse on the Fairy Queen set by Veran. This particular item is kept in Eyeglass Island Library. To reach the Fairy Powder, which is found in the past, Link must first obtain the Book of Seals from the present to solve a puzzle. By curing the curse on the Fairy Queen, the Zora Seas becomes free of pollution, and Link can enter Lord Jabu-Jabu to get the Rolling Sea, one of the Essences of Time. |

Balls will be thrown at Link and he must deflect them at certain colored statues to gain points. It is later traded with a friend of the Graceful Gorons for the Letter of Introduction. |

The Letter of Introduction is a quest item found in Oracle of Ages. This item is obtained from a friend of the Graceful Goron in exchange for the Lava Juice, but only after Link obtains the Old Mermaid Key. Once Link takes this letter to the first generation of Graceful Gorons, he will be asked to perform the Goron Dance. If successfully completed, he will obtain the Mermaid Key, which is required to enter Mermaid's Cave in the Past. |

In Oracle of Ages, the Magic Potion can be used to cure King Zora from his illness. |

The Mermaid Key is a quest item from Oracle of Ages. To obtain it, Link must give the Letter of Introduction to the Goron who manages the Goron Dancing Game in the Present. Afterwards, the Goron only agrees to give the Mermaid Key to Link if he dances in the dancing game himself, and if he does, he will receive the Mermaid Key in return for his participation. With this key, Link can unlock the Mermaid's Cave in the Past. |

The Mermaid Suit is an item in Oracle of Ages. It is found in Mermaid's Cave. The suit serves as an upgrade to the Zora's Flippers as it allows Link to swim in deeper waters. Additionally, it allows Link to dive underneath the water, and explore the areas in dungeons and beneath the sea. This unique diving ability is required as Link journeys through Mermaid's Cave and later on through Jabu-Jabu's Belly.
Link's swimming speed increases when he obtains the Mermaid Suit, as well as his ability to swim against strong currents.
The control scheme that Link uses to swim changes when he obtains the Mermaid Suit. Before when Link had the Zora's Flippers, he could just hold one of the directions on the D-pad, causing him to swim in that direction. Once Link obtains the Mermaid Suit, he swims by tapping the D-pad. Pressing the A-button allows Link to use items underwater, such as his sword or the Switch Hook. Pressing the B-button causes Link to dive underwater or to resurface. |

Ricky's Gloves are a set of boxing gloves that belong to the kangaroo Ricky. After the gloves are returned to him in either Oracle game, he will allow Link to ride in his pouch.
Ricky lost his gloves to the Boxing Champion Blaino. Ricky then asks Link to win back his boxing gloves from Blaino. After Link challenges and defeats Blaino, he will receive Ricky's Gloves. When they are returned, Link will become friends with Ricky. |

The Scent Seedling is a required quest item featured in Oracle of Ages. When Link first arrives on Crescent Island, the Tokay will come and steal all of his items. When trying to recover all of his goodies, Link will find the Wild Tokay mini-game, located at the east end of Crescent Island in the Past. The Scent Seedling serves as the prize when Link first plays the mini-game. The game operator will try to bait you into playing, by telling you the Scent Seedling is the prize. Link will need to lift up Tasty Meat and toss it at the moving Tokay on the left and right sides of the screen.
The Scent Seedling can be planted at the north end of Crescent Island within the Tree Nursery. The nearby Tokay will mention that it will take a very long time before this seed becomes a tree, and he hints that Link should come back after a long, long time. Link should then use the Harp of Ages and return to the same location in the Present. When Link arrives back at the location in the present, he'll find that Seedling has blossomed into a full blown Mystical Tree that is holding Scent Seeds.
Link can use the Scent Seeds that he acquires from the tree to get back his Power Bracelet from the Tokay Traders hut. |

The Tokay Eyeball is a quest item from Oracle of Ages that Link obtains from the Captain of the Piratians within the Sea of Storms.
After Link obtains the Zora Scale, he will have the ability to gain entrance to the Sea of Storms. Link will board the Pirate Ship where he will find the Piratians. After speaking with the Captain, Link will find out that the Piratians are stranded within the Sea of Storms. The Captain asks if he can have the Zora Scale to help calm the seas. After giving it to Link, the Captain will in turn give him the Tokay Eyeball. The Captain states that the Tokay Eyeball opens the way to the Ancient Tomb.
The Tokay Eyeball can be inserted into the Tokay Guardian Statue found in the Past at the west end of Crescent Island. The statue is in the same location as where the Moonlit Grotto can be found in the Present. The statue can be seen noticeably missing an eyeball. After inserting the Eyeball, the statue will open up, revealing a secret passageway that will eventually lead to the Sea of No Return. This serves as the only route to reach the Ancient Tomb. |

The Tuni Nut is a nut found in Oracle of Ages. It is the symbol of Symmetry Village and the citizens of the village worship the Tuni Nut. The village's balance of symmetry is kept by the nut and if something happens to the Tuni Nut, the village will fall into a severe state of imbalance.
As the Black Tower is closer to becoming complete, the village becomes stranger and stranger, and soon after, the Tuni Nut is broken and the balance of Symmetry Village falls apart, making the volcano erupt. While trying to find the next dungeon, Link visits the village in the present, destroyed by the time he discovers it. Finding a Time Portal in the ruins, he travels to the past in order to save the village from destruction. In the Middle House, the twins residing there tells Link the problems facing the village since of the Tuni Nut being broken and that she has given her husband the broken Tuni Nut. However, he cannot go to the Restoration Wall to restore the nut as his brother has been hurt from the eruption and left and right have to be in perfect balance, not letting himself move to keep up the perfect balance. Since Link won't cause the balance to further fall if he leaves the village, the brother gives him the Tuni Nut to take to the restoration guru, Patch.
After climbing up the Restoration Wall, Link finds Patch who fixes the nut by performing the Restoration Ceremony. Returning to the village with the fixed Tuni Nut, Link places the nut onto the pedestal in the Middle House, restoring the balance in Symmetry Village. Due to the restoration of balance, the volcano in the village stops erupting and the present-day Symmetry City is not in ruins anymore. In the present, Link finds the fourth dungeon of the game, the Skull Dungeon, is contained in the waterfall, which is the volcano in the past. |

After defeating Plasmarine and receiving the Rolling Sea in Jabu-Jabu's Belly, a Zora rewards Link with the Zora Scale. The Zora Scale must be shown to the Zora in the Sea of Storms to gain access to the area where the Piratians are found. Giving the Zora Scale to the Captain of the Piratians results in Link receiving the Tokay Eyeball, which is needed to access the Ancient Tomb. |
