NOTES
DAY 1 - Travel day. It took the Thomas's 11+ hours to travel from Michigan, through Ohio, Pennsylvania, and to New Jersey. It was immensely humid and hot when they arrived. Kevin and Maria arrived several hours later. The dog park was HUGE and had a picnic table with an umbrella for the pet parents.

DAY 2 - The group drove to Camden, NJ to watch Joey perfrom with the Jersey Surf Drum Corps. It was a 2+ hour drive one-way and the parking area organizers had Josh park the new F-250 truck on a 45degree hill facing down then parked another car parked in front of him! Joey's group sounded awesome! Maria and Josh went to find seats while Jeani, Kevin, and Ellie listened to the band warmup. Ellie could see the lights from New York City when we drove back to camp.

DAY 3 - Josh and Jeani picked up Joey, Abbie (girlfriend) and Danny (friend) from their lodging place and brought them back to camp. We all went swimming later and then climbed into the smaller pool next to the main pool to see how much water we could displace! Josh abraded his left foot badly on the floor of the pool and had to get out. The temperature was hotter than the previous days.

DAY 4 - We all went to Target and Barnes & Noble so the kids could stock up for their trip to Texas. It was now getting almost unbearable outside. Temp of 100 with realfeel of 109! Everyone but Josh played Clue in the camper while Josh built a new LEGO set, the 3 in 1 Camera.

DAY 5 - Josh and Jeani drove Joey, Abbie, and Danny to the Philadelphia International Airport at 4am. The temps got even hotter and the humidity was torture! A strong storm rolled through in the evening and knocked power out to the campground. It was predicted to come back at 2pm the next day! It was a hot and sticky night with no rest. We contemplated going home.

DAY 6 - Travel day. We did not go home, instead we went to Niagara Falls, NY! see Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA for the rest of the trip.
