Summer 2022 Camping Trip 07/02/2022 - 07/10/2022 - Josh spent most of the trip worrying about finding a new job and searching his work websites for a new position.
Kevin and Maria were on site 16 and the Sickens were across the street. The Thomas's campsite was behind the septic field and a couple of the days it stank REALLY bad when everyone was emptying their tanks!

7/2 (Sat) - Travel day pretty uneventful. Maddie Slivensky and Emma camped with us, but Emma drove separate. We met up with Matt and Amy at a rest stop and compared travel notes. The camp is pretty small, but it has a large fenced in dog run for Holly to do her business in. They also have a small fenced in area with goats to pet and feed. Dan, Nicole, Sal, Olivia, and Esther DiAmato also camped with our group on site 23. Matt had, what he thought was a gas leak so the guys, minus Kevin, went up to Home Depot for parts. Josh bought washers for the canopy stakes.

7/3 (Sun) - Matt found out that it was not his gas lines but it was his batteries that were making a nasty smell. He went up to Autozone and bought 2 new batteries and his issue is not resolved. The Thomas's, Maddie and Emily drove through town and we eventually had Mexican food for dinner. Matt tried fishing in the pond at the rear of the campground but did not get any bites. Only small bluegill were in there.

7/4 (Mon) - Matt, Josh and Dan all went golfing at The Eldorado Golf Course. Josh walked everyday and found that the campground was too small to get any real distances in. Emily went home today.

7/5 (Tue) - Josh had a phone interview for a new job, for Tiber Creek as a Technical Writer. He thought it went well. The Thomas's, Maddie, Dan and Sal all went hiking on the Cadillac Pathway Clam River Loop. Approx 3.5 miles and all were hot and sweaty when we finished. It very nice and not many black flies or bugs.

7/6 (Wed) - Packup and move to Twin Bears Campground in Indian River!
