This the first camping trip WITHOUT Brandy.
A very redneck campground with tight roads. Most kids have cowboy boots on and there are many weirdos about.
The site is nice with a concrete patio pad which is nice but the sewer hookup is a length of pipe barely buried in the dirt.
Everyone went to Logan and had pizza from Pizza Crossing. They cut the round pizzas into squares.
Everyone hiked at Old Man�s Cave and then all but VanSickles hiked the Ash Cave. Jay went down and stood in the "waterfall", it was more
of a slow running dribble. Took the kids to the �lake� in camp which was not a natural blue/green and Jeani almost got run over by a runaway bike.
Also watched a dog fight at the beach between a pit bull and a poodle schnauzer, the poodle was the aggressor. There was one storm that blew through, but
it wasn't bad. It seemed that the Thomas' kept missing the rainstorms while everyone else was getting soaked!
The Thomas's, Lewton's, Sicken's, and VanSickles (Kevin, Maria, David, Andrea, and girls), all went on this trip.4 |
