The site itself wasn't too bad, lots of rocks & gravel, no sand and an in-ground, immovable firepit. The sewer access was a good 8 inches higher than the sewer clean out on the camper. I had to borrow Matt's Sewer Solution to empty the black/grey tanks. The campground did have an awesome bike park, with elevated ramps and 2 tunnels, side banks and small jumps. Joey loved it! The pool was clover shaped and went from 3.5 ft deep to 5 ft. The camp boasts of a heated pool, yeah, heated by the sun and other swimmers maybe. The campground does have a lot of potential, but they have a long way to go. There is an extensive seasonal/permanent section that looks to be more maintained than the rest of the camp. The down hill sewers were percolating/bubbling over during the day on Sunday and Monday. When Kevin inquired about it he was told that the maintenance guy "Gore-Don" wasn't there and they weren't allowed to start the pumps! The camp store was manned by 16 yr old girls. I had to have a propane tank filled and was told that Ella was out in the park and she might be back in 5 minutes, but I could go down the street to a gas station that would fill it! The park advertised on-site filling!! They should have had a two-way communication system in place for this situation, among others. Another bright point, was that they left us alone! No KOA police, or sneaky golf carts in the middle of the night telling us to quiet down or get in our units. There was also a nice playground for the kids, as well as a volleyball court and a lighted and fenced pit for nightly dodgeball! You can rent gas powered golf carts, and 2-4 seat pedal cars. Our trip was mostly cold and filled with Epic Golf adventures! Matt, Jake, Alex and myself golfed at Bay Meadows, The Crown, and The Anterim Dells Golf Courses! Beautiful and scenic, difficult but fun! We also went to the mall to see Transformers 4 on a rainy day. The trip started out warm and finished warm, however it was quite cold at night. Also Grandma's awning arm broke due to the weight of the rain on the first night we were there.
NOTES=Sickens, VanSickles, and Thomas went on this trip. John and Tracy Martinelli came up one day and the guys golfed at the Anterim Dells course.

The site itself was pretty nice, mostly dirt and sand, but there were two trees right out off the carpet that were the perfect distance for a hammock. We did get to witness the Total Solar Eclipse at our site which was pretty cool. Matt and Amy camped across the street. Ellie made a pen pal with the girl in the camper behind us. Joey had a great time driving the golf cart on the trails with Matt and Brandon and Josh as passengers.

Lewtons are on 59, Sickens are on 58.

Day 1: travel from home minimal traffic arrived to find someone else on our site! We had to stay a night on 61, then move. Joey and Ellie rode their bikes around camp and found the new Just-In Timber Lake.

Day 2: Josh made Breakfast burgers. Moved to site 60 at noon-oh-one in 33 minutes! New lap record! 15 min after we were in a new camper was in our old spot. Josh set up the hammocks for Joey, Ellie and himself. The kids love them. Matt, Amy, Jay, Kelly, John and Tracy all went razoring all day. Thomass went into town to get gas and revisit the city. They stopped at Michaels for more CriCut things for Jeani and Perler beads for the kids.

Day 3: Josh woke to a txt msg from Neal and Jere that they were taking mom to the hospital at 1:30am. Turns it out it was just Kidney Stones!! WTF!?! Josh took the dogs to the HUGE dog run for Holly to runoff see some energy. We took the families to the new beach in camp and swam for awhile. Josh took Jeani, Ellie and Amy to Meijers for grocery shopping.

Day 4: Jay, Isaac, and Matt all went to golf at the Bear, while Josh and Jake Golfed at Elmbrook. Joey and Josh took the dogs swimming at the new beach and Holly loved it!! Sophie was enthused too. Jeani, Kelly, Lauren, Amy and Ellie all went into town for wine and shopping. Uncle Denny called about a bandsaw, grinder/buffer and PC stuff to come and get before they move.

Day 5: Jake, Matt and Josh all golfed at Timber Wolf golf course and basically had the run of the course. It was glorious! The rest of the week was spent relaxing at the beach, riding the golf cart around and sitting in the hammocks reading.
