Another parking lot in the middle of a cornfield! Pool was crowded, weather was sweltering hot. Very little shade. We took a drive looking for a beach and every one that we found was closed because the nitrates were too high causing too much algae. Sites were on white gravel, but each had it's own deck! Nice touch. There was a playground but it was scalding the kids in the daytime.
Good proximity to the Neal Armstrong museum. Grandpa V, and Kevin went to visit/tour the Airstream museum one day. Everyone visited the Ohio Caverns one day. It is the largest of all the cave systems in Ohio and contains many crystal formations including the largest stalactite in Ohio, The Crystal King. |
