Great park, site was very shaded. Park has batting cages, a Go-kart track, mini railroad, putt-putt course, numerous playgrounds scattered throughout as well as giant inflatable moon-bouncers and a bounce pillow. A great family oriented park, but very busy during Memorial day weekend.

Great park, site was not. Grandpa V's sewer connection was practically right under our awning. No shade in our area, but it was far from the main park, and right next to a small playground for the kids. Pools are not heated and was extremely cold! Park also has batting cages, a Go-kart track, mini railroad, putt-putt course, numerous playgrounds scattered throughout as well as giant inflatable moon-bouncers and a bounce pillow. A great family oriented park, but busy during Memorial day

Still very crowded, had some huge storms that flipped Grandpa's canopy onto his camper and truck. Kids got to launch the flaming hot air balloons! We did not have full hook-ups this year, so I had to use Grandpa's blue trailer for grey water dumping. :-(

As always, very crowded, weather was hot in the sun, and freezing in the shade. We were on the far east of the camp near the new cabins, and we were on a concrete pad. Kids got to launch the flaming hot air balloons! Joey, Ellie, and Alex played Dungeons & Dragons for the first time and loved it!!

We were on a new site on the far West side of the camp. The skate rink, and bouncy pillow were directly across the street. The weather was beautiful this year, it started out cold on Friday but by Monday it was in the 80's! We were on a brand new concrete pad, with concrete patio and a new gas grill! The camp even provided grill tools! Kids got to launch the flaming hot air balloons! I brought Perler Beads for the kids to do but it turned out that everyone (Excluding Matt, Jay, Brandon, Sean and Grandma) loved them! Joey, Ellie, and Alex made the most designs! I also created a set of clues for Joey and Ellie to follow, they enjoyed that so much that they want me to do it again for our other camping trips!

We were on an older site on the Western side of the camp. The weather was beautiful this year, we had to back in the new travel trailer on it's maiden voyage! I brought Perler Beads for the kids to do again but it turned out to be a dud. Joey got to drive the go-karts by himself for the first time this year!! He did really good, he even beat Josh! Matt, Jay, Brandon, and Josh all golfed at Serenity Links (Fore Lakes) again this year. Josh almost lost his wallet on the go-karts, but thankfully the manager found it and returned it.

We were on Maria's site from last year over on the Western side of the camp. The site was way to short for the camper and truck to be in it together. The weather was gorgeous this year, I had a helluva time trying to back in the new travel trailer! Joey got to drive the go-karts by himself again and the kids both had a blast in the bumper boats!! The kids tried to go on the water slide but the water smelled musty and Jeani complained to mgmt, which resulted in a full refund. The kids also played with the water balloon launcher! Matt brought along his Razor and he had to deal with electrical issues in the camper. Josh, Brandon, Matt, and Jay all golfed at the Marysville Golf Course, since Serenity Links was booked. They all had a great time, the course was virtually empty! No worries this year, it did rain on Saturday and on Sunday but only for about 20 minutes each time. Josh road the bike trail Wadhams to Avoca, for a total of 21 miles! His nether regions were quite sore! However, it was so relaxing that he might do it again next year!

Halloween Camping this trip. Great weather, not to hot or cold, Joey had a good time setting up the Halloween decorations. We got a lot of great comments on them! We also celebrated Jeani's 40th birthday at the site. Emily brought 40 individually wrapped gifts for her to unwrap. We camped next to Amy and Maria.

NOT SURE ABOUT THIS TRIP. A nice camping trip with gorgeous weather. Matt had a pretty shitty trip. He forgot to fill the fresh water tanks and upon backing his trailer in he crushed the top corner of and broke the back window in his truck. Then he dropped the overhang on the truck rails, crushing the tailgate. A ton of damage was done in about 15 minutes.

A nice camping trip with great weather. Only 3 of the Thomas's (Joey stayed home) and 2 of the VanSickle's went on this trip. Thomas on Site 190, Maria and Kevin on 215. Both pull through sites but the VanSickles have a glider sofa, metal picnic table and full grill.
5/27 - it rained and was really chilly. Jeani and Nicole went to the Green Barn Winery for a taste and buy some wine. Josh drove and enjoyed the mini charcuterie platter. Maria and Kevin arrived after 8pm. The first night was pretty chilly because Thomas's did not have any propane for the furnace!
5/28 - Josh made breakfast burgers then refilled the propane tanks. Later on Jeani and Josh rode their bikes for about 6 miles on the Wadhams to Avoca Trail. We went and visited the Matthew's at their campsite until we were driven home by the rain.
5/29 - Sophie had 2 seizures overnight and it was pretty scary. Josh and Kevin rode to the railroad trestle and back, 19.2 miles! Josh was okay, but Kevin was wrecked.
5/30 - Sophie had a 3rd early in the morning and so we packed up early and headed home for the Memorial Day parade. Joey's last one!
UPDATE: Sophie is all good and on meds now. (6/7/22)

First trip of the year with new tires on camper and freshly packed bearings. Ellie (junior) stayed home to be with her senior friends for senior skip day. Joey has to work all weekend.
DAY 1 - Arrived in the evening with Jeani and the dogs. It is Charlotte’s first camping trip! Josh and Jeani had a small campfire and enjoyed the semi emptiness of the camp.
DAY 2 - Rough night of sleep. Dogs were good and didn't wake us up for their nightly outing. Went for a mile walk in the morning and saw that the campground has installed a new dog run near the horseshoe pits. It has been seeded and is locked up. They removed the tether ball poles. There is a new section of sites, deluxe full hookups and then some "Glenting" (Glamorous Tenting) sites are in the works. The new section is behind the tennis courts and they took out the roller hockey rink. We also saw a new cabin in the woods near the railroad tracks/Sawmill City back entrance that was on stilts. Kinda like a cabin in the trees, with an outside deck and covered Adirondack style gazebo below! Pretty cool!
DAY 3 - Relaxed all day in great weather!
DAY 4 - Packed up and went home for Ellie's junior year Memorial Day Parade

DAY 1 - Arrived at camp and since it was just Jeani and Josh, they set up like it was their first time! Ellie stayed home on Friday. Only 2 of the Thomas's (Joey was at Jersey Surf camp and Ellie stayed home) and 2 of the VanSickle's went on this trip.
DAY 2 - Slept like shit. Tired today, read a little bit and played video games. Josh and Jeani took the dogs to the new dog park. It was really nice and big and had some climbing equipment in it that they dogs loved! Ellie came up to stay the night.
DAY 3 - Slept much better and relaxed today. Ellie went home today to get ready for her last ever Memorial Day parade with the Anchor Bay Marching Tars!
Day 4 - Packed up and went home to watch Ellie in the parade! Overall, we took many walks with the dogs around the park and to the dog park.
