| This was our first trip of the season, no water or sewer only electric at site. The site was very grassy
and had some trees around it. Nice location, but the angle of the camper site was difficult to get into, at first. I
brought the bows and arrows for the archery range. Matt brought a youth compound bow for Ellie and she loves it! The
shotgun range was closed for renovations. It looks like they will be adding a covered shooting area. Joey and I played
catch with a baseball and mitts. We were so happy! I can check it off of my bucket list! Ellie and I played trackball
also! We painted miniatures with Alex, and played Dungeons & Dragons with Joey and Alex. Josh cooked a cake in his dutch oven. The
weather wasn't too bad, it did rain on Sunday but only in the late afternoon and evening. The temperature was great!
Matt broke one of the rear windows out of his truck with his camper while trying to back it into his site. He also dropped
the camper on his bed rails while trying to pull out of his site to get water. He damaged his tailgate and the trailer
hitch in the truck bed. It was not a great weekend for Matt. Nick did not camp with us his family this weekend. The
Lewton's, The Thomas's, Grandma V, Kevin, and Kyrie all camped this weekend. |
