Good campground, very difficult to park the pop-up
in our site. Nice pond for fishing and lots of trees around the whole camp. Weather was quite hot and humid, and we had a tornado watch. We had to evacuate the area for fear of falling trees. We all went on a caravan drive to look for shelter while the storm raged around us. All the families went on the Original Duck Tours, and the scenic Upper Dells Boat tour, where we hiked through the Witches Gulch and watched a German Shepherd dog jump across to Stand Rock. We took the kids to Mt. Olympus Amusement Park, where the Josh and the Sicken's competed against each other in the Mario Kart style Go-Kart tracks. Joey was barely big enough to ride on the kiddie rides. We also went to Noah's Ark Water Park where the Grandpa and Grandma VanSickle played with Joey in the kids area with Jeani and Josh, while the rest of the group rode water slides. |
