It was our first trip with the new Hybrid camper! Josh had a hard time with the water heater. It wasn't igniting and heating the water inside. Luckily Grandpa V. was there to help out! It turnes out that the Annode rod wasn't screwed in all the way and the breaker wasn't in the ON position.
The "camp" wasn't really a "camp". There was no fire ring, no grass, and it was a glorified parking lot. There was sand behind the site and across the lot. We were within walking distance of Lake Michigan, which was cool, but it was too cold to swim. Tulips weren't even in bloom for the Holland Tulip Festival. Not a pleasant trip. There was much griping about the campground, but it was our first trip to the Holland area. |
